How to create your first project in Kanbanery.com First register for your new account with either an email address or an OpenID. Then create your workspace. A workspace is your unique web address where you will find your projects. The name you choose will be part of the URL. Now you can create your first project board, where you will manage tasks for a particular project.
Click on CREATE NEW PROJECT BOARD and type a name for the project. Now you need to define your workflow, or value chain. These are the steps that any task passes through from the time you think of it until it’s done. An example for a web application project might be:
Backlog -> Read to start -> In Progress -> Testing -> Approval -> Deployed
So now that you have your workflow, you can add columns by clicking on the Add column button located at the top right corner of the work area.
You can change the name of a column by double-clicking on it. You can also edit the work in progress (WIP) limit for a column by double-clicking on it.
You can re-order columns by dragging them into position.
When the board looks the way you want it, you can begin adding task cards using the Add task button.
In the Project Setting tab, you can control which features are visible on the board, The names of your task types (default types are Bug, Story, and Chore), Set you estimates (the default options are the Fibonacci sequence), and you can import tasks from a csv file.
